May I know how old are you? I am 18 years old, staying in Singapore and I plan to start bodybuilding when I'm 21. My body fat is 20%, my waist is 33 inches and my chest is 41 inches. Am I considered fat?

Hi bro,

I'm 20 this year. I think bodybuilding is something that you do based on passion and how much you want to do it, not because of your current shape. Do you WANT to be a bodybuilder? Are you willing to eat six meals a day, spend on supplements and push your limits in the gym? That's the question you should be asking instead of whether your current condition is considered fat or not. About your current condition, you're pretty much ok when you compare yourself with other non-bodybuilders. But if you want to compete in the sport, you're up against the best, not against the average. And most of these guys on stage has sub-30 inch waist and single digit fat percentage while maintaining a 40-plus inch chest (or 50 plus). So if your answer to these questions is a 'yes', then see you on stage in 3 years!

Hi my fellow tech-savvy readers! One of the things that I wish that I had done earlier in my younger days is to get to know more bodybuilders. With Facebook, doing this cannot be any easier. When I was preparing for Mr Kuala Lumpur 2010, I had so much help from so many local bodybuilders. And I was in the best shape of my life so far despite a nasty diarrhea. After I knew how to properly diet for a contest, I felt so bad for doing it so wrong the first few times I competed.

So Hewlett Packard is making this video series for online circulation, aiming to promote, of course, HP products. And guess what? They decided to use bodybuilders in their ads!

So Peachblack.tv found Fabodylous and asked if I were interested to act in an ad for HP. And I was like, "Cool. Let's do it!"

Oh, they needed another three bodybuilders. So I called Magnum to bring another three huge guys and they didn't disappoint. They brought Myren Fu, Earric Lee and Ricky Wong, all winners of at least one category at the Singapore Nationals Bodybuilding Championships this year.

Protein and Acne

Hi Wee Kiat,

I have heard and seen many people get serious acne breakouts when they start taking protein and other supplements for bodybuilding. I had mild acne flaring up and I was able to bring it under control with creams and not taking protein from supplements. I see that you have a good complexion, so may I ask if you know the reasons for acne breakouts because of protein intake and any ways to prevent it?
